THE BRAND
O JÉ is a professional tool brand specialized in millinery, created by Kevin Auger.
It is intended for all people who wish to work the hat.
All the tools are designed and mostly produced in the workshop in Paris and its surroundings.
The very foundation of my work is based on 3D printing technology, the brand's tools are designed, modeled, then printed in PLA.
PLA is a 100% biobased and biodegradable sustainable plastic, it comes from renewable resources such as corn or sugar cane.
The history of the brand
The idea for the OJÉ brand came to me after resuming my professional activity as a Hatmaker shortly after Covid 19.
I had sold almost all my tools, and I needed them again to be able to work and make hats.
That's when I realized that it was difficult
to get quality, new and affordable tools.
I said to myself: " Why not make some? And why not share them?"
I relied on my own experience as a milliner to bring added value to these tools.
The idea being to be able to offer quality professional tools, which will provide its users with a better quality of work, precision and ergonomics.
